Stayed in the Birch Creek Unit of the park, which is on the north side of the lake off of Hwy 60.

Camped in site #121, which is in the equestrian area, but close to the shower house. The other area for tents is the Cedar Elm Camping Area, but is not as close to the showers. The other areas in the park are sites with electricity.

It's a very nice park with some fine hiking trails, and lots of deer. The roads in the vicinity are first class with FM 390 leading the pack. (especially when the wildflowers are blooming in the spring).

Good review, thanks! I have been meaning to get over to east Tx. That looks like a good place to start.
