Need a better way to strap that luggage or whatever on the back of your bike? Using bungies that can come apart, fly up and possibly put your eye out? Me, too. At least I was until I discovered ROK Straps a couple of years ago and I've been using them ever since.

They are flat and will not scratch or mar the surface of your bike. They have a short piece of very strong elasticized material on one end, so you put them on, snap the fasteners together, then draw it as tight (stretching the elastic material) as much as you want. Very quick to put on and off. Do they work?

You betcha. During the latter part of July, 2006, I crashed my first '06 ST1300 half way through a trip from CO to FL. I had a large duffel strapped on the back with the ROK Straps. One end of the duffel was a bit friction burned, but the bag was still in the exact same place I strapped it down before the crash! It did not budge.

These are available lots of places, but here is the link for the ROK Strap web site (http://www.rokstraps.com/index2.html).

Enjoy!

I also think they are the best straps out there. They really allow you to crank down on the strap, no worries about a strap coming loose.

Rok straps are great!

I replace all the cheap bugee's on my Aerostich tank panniers after having one of the cheap plastic hooks on the bungee's that came with them snap off during a trip last summer. Roc Strap makes two sizes that worked perfect. Don't remember the length off hand but I used a short one on each side with a longer one (this one I won in a raffle at a rally) that passes above the tele-lever in front of the shock from side to side. Everythings on buckles now and works perfect.
