Anyone have any experience with them? Durability, usefulness?

Got one of these at wal-mart for 2.24. Looks pretty sturdy.

I haven't seen this type; it looks like the spoon is at one end and the fork is at the other.

The ones I have seen had the spoon and fork on the same end and were fairly useless except when used as a shovel.

I'd like to know what you think of it...

I'm curious about keeping food gunk off your hands using one of these.

I think I'd go with a "hobo set" before one of these. Personally, about all I ever carry is a titanium spoon for an eating utensil. I can always use one of my knives if necessary, to assist it.

This one is available at Cabellas. It comes apart so each item can be used separately. There are also the "Boy Scout" type of sets where they all hook together, too.

I'd be afraid to use one of these. A person could starve to death trying to decide which end was appropriate.

What about spives, forives, and the all inclusive spifeorkula (spoon/knife/fork/spatula). Then, of course, there's the..........OK, I quit. LOL.

You're from LA, what would you do with utensils anyway? LOL:food1:
