I'm always losing the cheapo lighters I get so I thought maybe something a little tougher, brighter and more expensive might
actually stay in my pocket.
So, I gave this a try. It seems pretty tough and I like the bright
orange color.
It's not cheap at $40 but I have a Cabela's pretty close and I'm thinking it would be easy enoug h to return if I'm not satisfied.
It's easy to refill with butane, has a fuel level window/bubble and adjustable flame.
I'll post an update after I've used it for a while and see how it holds up. For now, I'll
rate the durability as a 3 and update that after some use.

My .02
Wal-Mart has the same one and while it worked well, when I went to refill mine the refill thing on the bottom would not allow the fuel to flow in.

When you refill.. you have to hook and unhook the butane a few times as the pressure equalizes and it won't fill... I had a cheap one a while back with no sight window to see if it was getting anything and I never could tell.. Just pressing the butane refill against it isn't enough, you just have to keep repeating it and on one with no sight glass.. you keep doing it until at some point when you pull the refiller away you feel more of a spray coming out.

I sure am glad I don't have a Cabella's near me. The closest ones are in WV or MI. I would never come home, just camp in the parking lot when they closed.

The Cabella's in Dundee, MI is only about 15 minutes away from my house. I stop by and browse through the place a couple of times a year. Takes a lot of will power to leave without a bag full of goodies!:p
