What are some of the places you've found the best inventory/prices? I'm trying to put a list of common links. I know there are tons of camping and backpacking and hunting etc sites but most of us have our favorites even if they aren't always the cheapest...
I always checkout:

www.Cabelas.com

Oddly enough, I've always had luck at finding stuff at Academy.
http://www.academy.com/
It's not always the "best" stuff on the market, but most of the stuff I have bought there has worked very well and lasted a long time.

oddly enough Sears usually has a pretty good assortment, catch them at the end of the year when making room for new stock.

Helen two wheels for bags. www.helen2wheels.com
These bags are the absolute best for packing on a bike.
I have met her a couple of times at BMWON rallys and the last time was in Spokane. I mentioned to her that one of the bags had a light dam[p spot in one inside corner and I wanted to know what to treat it with. She said send it back to her and she would replace it! Now she said that without asking how long I had it, or any of the usual vendor questions. Thats customer service.
