Anyone traveling to eureka springs for a motorcycle rally or whatever, and want to stay somewhere close to town, I highly recommend the Kettle campground. It's inside the city limits and the tent spots are under a full canopy of trees. They also have teepees and cabins, but I always carry a tent. Eureka springs is a paradise for bikers with the ozark nat'l forest and all and there're countless places to camp. I just wanted to mention this one for those who have events in the city and want to camp close. It's really a wonderful park and very well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay there during the kaw vulcan reunion.

I moved this to the campground review section.
I've actually stayed here a couple times, don't know why I didn't post a review - I must be falling down on the job.
I think it's a very good place to stay given how close it is to town. The camp sites I was at were close to the pool and road so you do have traffic to listen to but it's not as bad as some state parks where you are close to a highway and have to listen to truckers going by.
They also have wifi but they charge for it now, it used to be free. When I asked why they said they were trying to keep up with their competition but they didn't say who that was. Could have been a non-Tent RV park because most of their space is for RVs.
All in all, it's not a bad place and you can get cabins if you like. The ST-Owners group is planning another get together there next year.

Been there and done that Campground. Great place, and the town isn't all that bad either.

Thanks Mellow. I have trouble figuring out which forum to post in. I'll definitely use it again next year when we have our vulcan reunion.

I spent a few nights there in April 2006, riding the Eureka Springs area.
One of the best things about was the campground was it had clean showers :shower1: .

Hi All,
I have not stayed at the campground in a long time, but if you can't find a good road to ride anywhere in this area, then you must be parked somewhere. Lots of motels and lots of good restaruants in this town. If you like German food try Bavarian Inn Restaurant. It's on the west side of town and very good.
