Seems that there are 2 GSI 10" Dutch Ovens. One is hard anodized??

Besides $20 what are the differences between the two for cooking

Forget the aluminum DO that ISN'T hard anodized. The hard coating is well worth the extra $20.
For one thing, Food doesn't stick near as much, and that makes cleaning the oven SO MUCH easier ... :)
You won't need to season the oven before you start using it either ... ;)

This is the one you want ... P^

I watched some video of a guy that does primitive camping down south. he cleans his pans and whatnot with DIRT. I guess back in the 1800's or something there was a whole group of ppl called the dirt-eaters because of this practice. Supposed to be healthy for you or something. I'll stick with regular old soap thank you very much. :)

When I used to backpack, I would 'wash' out my SS pots with gravel, or snow, depending on location/time of year.
Worked great. A quick rinse with a small amount of water and you were good to go! P^
