Lemolo Lake is 3 miles North of Diamond Lake Highway OR138 MP 72. There is a Lodge, cabins, motel unit, food, fuel, showers, and several Forest Service campgrounds in the area. Open all year, paved roads except right into the Lodge (200 yards). Not far from North Umpqua River, Upper Rogue River, Diamond Lake, Crater Lake, and Diamond Peak. Has roads to ride, fishing, creeks, hiking, waterfalls, alpine meadows, snowmobiles in winter, and generally just a great place for a hub of activities. You can tent camp, trailer it, RV it, or do the Lodge bit.

Camp rates vary from $3.50 for a Golden Age campground to $80 for the motel units. Meals are limited menus, but we had an all-you-can-eat Tri-Tip / BBQ Rib / Chicken dinner for $15. Showers are clean. Air is fresh. Fish were good.
We used it for a hub - spent a day at Crater Lake and upper Rogue, another day at New berry Crater and the High Cascade Lake drive, and a third day across the Klamath Marsh into the back-roads by Thompson Reservoir and Gearhart Wilderness area.
Recommend it as it gets you out of the rat race at Diamond Lake, but is close to everything.
