I don't know if the food area is right for water questions but I'm sure the moderators will move it to the right place if necessary.
What is a good water filter to carry if you are pulling a trailer? We go to a lot of remote places on the bike and when hunting where the water in the stream or river is all there is. Even tho we try to carry everything we think we should need, there is no telling when you may stay longer than you planned on or hit a new direction you weren't expecting and need more than you planned on.

I've been using my "pur" for 10 years for backpacking, moto-camping, and I store it in my 72 hour emergency kit by the front door. Its worked great for me.

Check out the Sweetwater filter. I originally used this for backpacking. It works very easily.

"Pur Hiker" has a changable filter, easy to pump, easy to haul. Mine is an old one, I'm sure there are better models now.
