:hi1: Good morning to everyone!!!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

The board seemed a little slow over the weekend, so I thought I might give it a little kick start.

Morning... been a busy weekend for me.. just errands and such.. I did get a chance to ride too the Hard Eight BBQ place in Stephenville, TX and meet up with some ST-Owners.

Nice morning but did get some rain on me on the way back into Dallas...Would have preferred it to keep raining but it stopped and the steam bath began at that point. LOL

Good Morning! I'm back at my desk working on stuff for the "man"...:D

My weekend was filled with a day trip in my truck delivering my son's bed to his new apartment in Springfield, MA... an all day affair on Saturday (5 hour drive one-way).

We are now officially Empty Nesters! (yet my wife is going to ask her 91 year old mother to come stay with us now that we have a room available).

Then Sunday was spent writing papers and doing homework..... man am I getting burnt out from school and not having much time to ride...and the weather has been great too!

Anyway! Coffee is good and I have plenty to keep me busy here at work! :)

Were you there Saturday? I got there around 10 and we stood around after eating 'til probably 1pm.

The ribs are great.. it was funny when one of the girls there said 'yes' when they asked to dip her pork chop.. she thought it would be some bbq sauce but is was thick butter/garlic sauce... I think my heart stopped a couple times during lunch LOL..

Dave,

I know what you mean... I finished 18 credits from Jan to July (3.85 gpa Yea!). I start again in late Aug. I did couple of rides (one was 2 days up and 2 days back from Tempe to Ferndale WA) but, the trips are the reason I got the one B out of the 5 classes.

It's nice to know I'm not in this alone! :)
I'm in an accelerated learning program (ALP) to get my business degree, and the classes are a heavy load for seven weeks, with a week between courses over two years. I am getting burnt because it's ALP.... but I signed up for it because it's ALP... kinda double edged.

Then of course, I have the honey-do list, and vacations/camping with my wife (who does not ride), and not much time left over to ride! One more year baby!

Sleep is overrated....

I did a UOP MBA with the 5 week classes... business law (365p book) in 5 weeks and we covered every page! :)

I did a bio class with lab online accelerated in Jan; it was only 8 weeks long, 2 chapters and 2 labs a week.. what a thrill... NOT!

Now I'm signed up for 10 units in the fall semester... not much time for riding; but, Chris is on the ST1300 while I'm on the ST1100 so we do okay on early Saturday/Sunday rides.

Good luck!

It was close to 1pm when we got there. We spent some time at the leather shop in Hico, they have some really nice rain gear. Give me a shout next time you go that way and I'll try to meet up.
