Here (http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=190870) is a link to the item.

It was the thickest self-inflating mat I could find and it worked pretty well. I had heard that a simple air mattress could get cold at night so I tried a mattress with some insulation. Supposedly, the foam that expands to make the mattress self-inflating, helps to provide insulation also. I stayed warm down to 28 degrees one night while using a 20 degree sleeping bag with it.

It is a bit big and cumbersome when deflated and rolled up compared to pics of other mats I have seen. This hasn't been a problem for me because I travel only one up.

Seemed pretty durable. I had to roll it up and compress while doing so on gravel, roads, you name it, and it did fine.

The pic has a flat mat, but mine has little pockets all over it and 2 straps to bind it down with that aren't shown in the pics either.

In the pic of my bike, you can see the mat rolled up on the very back of the rack.

Thanks for the review! that is what the wife has had me looking for, and this one would seem to fit the bill right down to the price.
