Looks like the rain is finally tapering off here in North Texas.. should be nice and steamy this week as the temps rise...

Headed to Garner State Park Friday (http://www.motocampers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5213) afternoon so anyone is welcome to join in. Will ride Sat and hang out at the campground Sat afternoon then home Sundy morning. Should be a nice one. :fire3:

75 and partly cloudy here so far this morning. Supposed to be around 90 and since we finally got some rain Saturday (Florida is in a drought the past couple of years or so) it will probably be a bit steamy here today, too. Lord, but I miss Colorful Colorado!!!

Morning all.

We finally started getting some light rain up here on the north coast last night. Been dry for a couple weeks and the ground was getting hard.

I guess it was the remains of "Barry" (right name?) coming up the east coast.

Still rode to work though! Today & tomorow will be the last days to ride for a week & a half... going on vacation with my wife. Camping in the Shanandoah valley of Virginia... she don't ride...sigh..

I imagine so--Barry gave us the first good rain we've had in weeks. June 1st was the official start of hurricane season. arrggghhhhhhhhh I've never been through a hurricane--didn't have many of them in Colorado. :D I hope I don't experience one down here, although the home we bought is built to the 2001 Florida hurricane code.

I know it is not morn anymore, but at least I'm motocamping. In Grants NM. Headed for George in Kingman in the AM. Then on to CA for the Grandson's BD.
