Located midway between the tour-worthy cities of Utrecht and Arnhem, het Dijkje ("little dike") offers biker, cycle tourers and hiker/trekkers both tent camping and B&B accommodations at an appropriate price. Google shows it as being literally on the banks of the Rijn (Rhine) river but actually it's back about a block or so. There's no bridge but a ferry is close by.Utrecht is an amazing town to walk through. From the Old Canal (Oude Gracht) to Winkel Van Sinkel (Van Sinkel quarter), there's no end of neat things to see and eat. Like many of Holland's towns, Utrecht is a place to park it and hoof it.http://farm1.static.flickr.com/145/412475662_df517f5247_m.jpghttp://farm1.static.flickr.com/164/412474173_890907b5c7_m.jpg
