It's official- Punxsutawney Phil did NOT see his shadow, thus predicting a short winter! Those of us in the frozen north can expect the thaw to begin sometime within the next couple of weeks.
Break out the camping gear, dust off the bike in the garage! Do a rain dance to wash the road salt away. Life is good!!!

I'm gonna close my eyes, plug my ears, and pretend the "others" don't exist!
Aren't those "others" due for some sort of terrorist attack?

Oh, I've been ridin'. Mostly commuting, and some running around last Saturday. Nothing long distance yet (that's in 2 weeks). And up here on the north coast we have that dreaded "s" word in the forecast for the end of the week! Damn white crud...
Next week looks OK.... so far...

Well the only good thing is that now I dont feel bad about having my bike on a jack working on it in the garage as it is to cold and nasty outside . ;)

SHHH...we should not be telling Trekker about our spring weather. He is enduring a Tax Day snowstorm as I write this! Although I have April showers outside...
Sorry, Trekker. I'll see you next week. Looks like you'll hit it about right and remember to pack SHORTS for the campsite. It should be WARM down here.
A warning: You will also find it hard to keep up with hockey whille you're down South; there is a dearth of coverage.

-Geo

You guys are gonna be blinded by my pale white legs!!
As for Hockey... I can live a couple days without as its only the first round of the playoffs. Plus I can check my sat. radio for scores, or my laptop where ever I have wi-fi.
The forecast still looks like fair weather will arrive here Wed. (when I am leaving). Stupid GroundPig must die!!!
