Weather:
A cold spell depositing sleet and snow had just hit north Texas so it was chilly but the real bad stuff didn't affect this area much - the temps were near 65F during the day and high 30's to mid 40's in the morning.
Campground Condition:
This is a very large campground with over 300 sites ranging from basic sites with water hookups only to cabins and shelters with water and electric hookups.
All of the sites are easy walkig distance to the Frio River and it's very scenic.
Some parts of the road had a medium amount of gravel so care should be exercised when traveling the park roads on a motorcycle.
The showers near sites 1-104 did not have any hot water but there were 2 other showers within walking distance and at least one of them did have hot water.Area Attractions:
Sonehenge II (http://www.alfredshepperd.com/Stonehenge/main.html) in Ingram on SR-27, a replica of the landmark in England
