This campground not far off of Hwy 2, is somewhat run down and I would not recommend it unless there was nothing else in the immediate vicinity! :(

This campground has a couple of loops and the entrance to the campground proper, is down a rather steep narrow gravel road.

While some of the campsites are quite spacious, there are not many 'good' campsites and I didn't note any on /with a view of the very small lake/pond, although a couple had an access path to the lake/pond.

Conditions were somewhat cloudy, with rain threatening and temps were in the mid/upper 70s. Biting insects were fairly healthy at time of visit (July 4 2011) and there were quite a few empty campsites, probably due to the fact this campground is somewhat run down/neglected.

Each/most campsites had a picnic table and fire ring. No showers, or electric. Toilet facilites by our site was a pit toilet and there was a hand pump for potable water, near by.

Not really close to anything, which may account for this campground's condition. Some traffic noise (tractor trailers) was noticeable.

Cost was $12/night

I tend to like rustic c/g's but not the steep gravel road access to get to them..HAHA!! I've been thru that area and it sounded familiar..
