Ah..... well, pumped up the air mattress in the living room to check for leaks before the Big Bend trip... that's about as close to camping as I got... :mad:

No camping in NE Ohio this weekend. Lots of rain and starting to snow now. I just hope I can get out of the state for the Big Bend deal. I would hate to get SNOWED in while you Texans are having all that fun in South Texas. I know... you got snow down there in '05.

Actually, Big Bend was fine, it was the Ft Davis area that got the snow... I think we would have missed it in BB.

It sure has been a strange winter. It's been cold here but nothing severe and it's only been cold a few days before pushing up to nice temps..

With just a month to go 'til the Big Bend trip... sure hope we're lucky. Stay warm!

No camping here on the north coast...

I did get out my old down filled mummy sleeping bag to check over. I used to use it for backpacking, and since it packs so small compared to my regular bags I plan to use it this Spring on my motocamping excursions.

Also... spent some time working out a route down to Trenton GA for CampSToc in April.

No camping here, I spent the weekend at the base towing 190,000 lb planes on solid ice so's the plows could get rid of the snow underneath them, now THAT was fun. :rolleyes:
