Howdy !!
All my friends call me Cujo, so ya'll are welcome to do the same.
I'm a 40-something family man born and raised in the hills of upstate NY, but living outside of Atl, Ga for the last 20+ yrs.
My wife and I are members of Black sheep HDFC www.blacksheephdfc.org (http://www.blacksheephdfc.org) and thoroughly enjoy the biker ministry lifestyle. Be assured, I'm not here to preach at you, but I'm available publicly or privately for anything you might find a need for.
I ride a 2007 Ultra and like to log the miles. I try to stay on call for the ministry and that allows me the opportunity to sometimes go a state or two away...sometimes more. My wife is a constant travel partner and she is happy as my sissy bar queen.
Last year, mostly as a reason to have something cool, to be less expensive than retail, (the economy has sucked for awhile) and to enter the moto-camping lifestyle, I built a small home built trailer from an aluminium truck toolbox. (Pics to be eventually posted)
We've been tent campers, 5th wheel campers, and hotel campers over the years, but really want to explore the world on 2 wheels....hence my search and ultimately my finding of your site.
We've been out of tenting for 15 yrs, so there will be plenty of questions... I'm a rookie to pulling behind a bike (but been a trucker, mechanic, equipment operator, and construction guy all my life-so I'm not afraid to do it), and am interested to find all the cool biker campgrounds all around us and across the country.
Our first long haul gig will be a cross country from Atl to San Diego in May 2012. We did the same trip in 2010 but without camping... so this year oughtta be fun..
Anyway - Glad to be here and see you guys on the road or on the site..
