That was our intent.. we started bouncing around a lot of ideas yesterday... then looked at the basic Camping symbol you see on all campground maps/signs...

Then, Rick played with it and came up with that... originally, we were thinking of a wheel instead of a helmet but thought that might actually imply bicycles...

I like this one a lot... like you said, says a lot with no words... Tent, Road, Helmet... pretty much covers it...

LOL... I wanted to add a campfire in the little triangle but Rick started getting frustrated with all my suggestions so we just kept it as is.. LOL

It's not done yet but Joe is like a little kid when it comes to new things. We still need to add MotoCampers.Com at the bottom and maybe a fire.:p

I personaly don't think it needs anything else. You put in a campfire and then we'll need color for the flames and then.......

What I like about it is that it does look like the standard map symbol for tenting. So... it might be cool with a campfire, and it might get cluttered. Either way... nice work.

On second thought maybe a little more weight should be put on motorcycle 'cause there's all types of camping ie car, hiking etc. The camping symbol with road strips is very cool. Hope ya'll don't mind a little input from a newbie.

Like you said, putting in on the side of a helmet might make it look too much like a football helmet.

We don't mind the input at all just please don't get offended if we don't use all of them. We'll probably stick with what we have for now unless we just decide we don't like it.

Yeah, I don't understand their base pricing much.. I have an ST1300 clock I got off ebay a while back and a pretty basic clock, nothing heavy duty.

If you could find a double wall steel mug with folding handles that would be a killer camp mug with the logos.

On the shirts I will throw my two cents in, no charge.

A simple black shirt with a small logo on the front in a light grey would look good. Or maybe a black golf shirt. I could also wear it for work. Always looking out for myself!

Yeah... we're looking at other cafepress-type stores to see if that will give us other options, the nice thing about cafepress is you don't have to buy 1000 items and keep it at your house and you also aren't out any money. They produce them as the orders come it, you make less that way but there's also less liability.

There are some black shirt options and we're putting the logo together for that, it's a little trickier..no black golf tee yet sorry.

We'll post something as we get updates.

I'm still not sure about it.. almost looks like too many helmets but then again, it also looks cool... Do you like that little change?

I looked at that for a while too with the same thoughts... the t and two o's just looked like a bike.

We're gonna stick with what we have for now. If we keep making changes we'll never make one official.

The nice part about what we have now is it doesn't have a lot of detail so it's not a complicated design and makes it easy for puttin on the site and on any items we might want to sell.

I even thought of making he 'M' two side by side tents.. LOL..

When I was playing with the helmet idea, I thought the 2nd helmet in the dot com was over kill.

We didn't want a MC in it because WHICH MC do you choose.. a Sport Touring one? A Wing? A GS? a dirtbike?... no matter how you do that one there will be more that what their MC in it.. and, if you make it an abstract looking one, it probably won't flow witht he sharp lines of the tent... The helmet is pretty generic and we all know what it means..

Moto is a little vague. Most non motorcycle campers will think motorhome first even with the helmet. I'd like to see some of your mock ups with a generic motorcycle.

Sorry, we don't have any plans now for anything that isn't covered in the cafepress store (http://www.cafepress.com/motocampers). Maybe once we get a few more members we can justify it but it's going to be a while.
