This must be my 5th year attending the Airheads Last Chance Rendezvous. Its been held every year for the last 12 years at Auga Caliente in the desert of San Deigo. This year for $32 you recieve 3 days and 2 nights of camping and includes meals and drink.
This year as alway's me and a friend went out 1 day early. The weather was picture perfect. No wind, low temps in the mid to high 30's, and the days time temps in the mid 70's. Attendance for this years event had to be around 80. The meals are always top notch as usual. The nights were within a day or two of a full moon. Enough light to where you needed no flashlight. Auga Caliente is one of my favorite place to camp. With clean new restrooms with hot showers and the indoor 102? mineral pool are a big plus.
I discovered this place when I attended by first Last Chance Rendezvous 5 years ago. Me and a few friends have gone back to enjoy the desert and the mineral pool many times since.
