Guess i need to introduce myself :) Been lurking here awhile reading, really thinking about stepping up to a camper trailer from my HF tag-along I bought this past year. I've travel all though europe when I was stationed there 2 yrs ago wishing I had bought a trailer before I shipped my bike there. Hit Nordkapp on one trip and even north africa the next summer my '07 Ultra Classic. Here's a link to an article I wrote about the first trip http://greenknightsmc.com/guardian/2010_spring.pdf
Hope to get some more info before making the plung on a new trailer.

Welcome to the campfire. Thank you for your service. I can't give you much info on pulling a trailer but there are lots here who can. All you need to do is ask and someone will have an answer.

Welcome to the Site.
Camper is the way to go in my book .
Bought a Roll-A-Home and its always packed and ready to go camping.
I have gotten a little flack from some about should have taken a car but its the best homebase I have ever had. If you are slabbing it from point A to point B you dont hardly notice it and its not that big a drag when riding the curves either .
I notice the weight more than the trailer ,like Im riding two up. I also notice the looks when Im sleeping nice and comfortable on hard , wet and windy campsites. I like them

Welcome aboard. I went from a H/F trailer with a car topper to a 1988 Bunkhouse (got it off Ebay) and have NEVER looked back. It was the best decision made and we love camping with the trailer. Everywhere we go, we always have someone stop by and look at the trailer. We had to replace the tent portion of the trailer..but it was very easy to do. We get to carry all oru camping needs and are normally setup in less then 2-3 minutes! Get one...is all I can say..you won't regret it!!

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. I go back and forth between cargo and campers, but will stay with my Trailmaster Aspen Classic or maybe downsize to the Aspen Sentry.

You can get a lot of information at the Motorcycle Trailer Towing Forum. Link is in my sig line, as is my Picturetrail photo site.

Brian, thank you for putting Country before self. Thanks for your service and the sacrifices you've made. I ride with Warriors' Watch Riders. Check us out and let me know if there is anything we can do for you. http://www.warriorswatch.org/

Now about trailering, we graduated from a cargo trailer/tent camping to an Aspen Ambassador and we're loving it. Just sayin'. P^

Thanks for your service . I just did a contract for the VA and this sign was all ocer the place and it meant something

"A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, signed a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I never thought of my service that way before I worked there , stay safe brother
