We finally got away for a 3 day weekend and went to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
We stayed at the Buckhorn camping area on Lake Arbuckles. We are still under burn bans here in Oklahoma so no campfires but we still had a great time. Loop C in the Buckhorn cg has restrooms, showers and electrical and water hookups.
Campsites are nestled in the trees and are very nice! Most of them have a picnic table and pretty level area for tents or campers.
The electric and water sites run 22.00 a night but if you want primitive, they are any where from 14.00 to 16.00 a nite.

There are lots of twisty and scenic roads to ride in the area.

Oh! Broadway Diner in Sulfur has a breakfast buffet til 11:00. Very good!P^

Shelia I just right click on photo, hit edit , then image and then stretch/skew and reduce to 30/30. that usally makes them small enough.

I use photo shop elements. Click on save for web and use JPEG. Tried other ways and had the same problem as you.

You can also use webshots. Once you upload the pictures just click on the picture and choose share. It automaticly creates a thumbnail pic of what ever size you want and creates the forum code so you just copy and paste.
