Hey Guys!

I have been kicking this idea around for months and I have comitted to it and started preparing. I am going to Big Bend over Thanksgiving. I will leave New Braunfels, TX about 4 on Tuesday and ride to Del Rio and camp on Lake Amistad. I will get up Wed morning and ride to Seminole Canyon State Park and join a hike to Fate Bell Shelter from 10-11:30 and see some of the oldest petroglyphs in North America. Wed afternoon I will ride to Big Bend and set up camp, hopefully up in the basin. Thurday and Friday will be spent riding around Big Bend and come home Sunday.

I have traveled alone before and enjoyed it, but if anyone wants to join me they are welcome. So, any must do's besides River Road aka 170? I did River Road in the truck last March with my daughters and that is one of the reason for this trip. I have been to Big Bend many times, but never on a motrocycle. I will be riding a Bandit and want to stick to paved roads and good gravel roads.

Wish I had the vacation time left... was just there the end of September. It's been known to snow in the Basin on thanksgiving... be sure and pack the warm stuff and ride safe.
