After trying to track one of these Lights down for 10 days now, I finally got a hold of 2 of them. There was about 80-100 of them on backorder/rainchecks at my Local Store, so we had to take a bike trip to the next closest store today, well worth the ride. As Swampfox stated after I posted on these lights, these things are bright. He also stated that the switch felt a little cheap, well, I can see how he would say that..lol. I don?t think though that they are that bad. As an ex Law Enforcement Officer, I have seen cheaper switches on some of the $120 flashlights we had?lol . That said, I think they will hold up just fine for what we would put them through. All in all, I would say this is the perfect Compact, Lightweight and Bright Light for Camping. If you get the chance, get one?or two..or......lol

I hope you got two of the 'good' ones... I, too, bought two... got them home and neither one would work.... (not to mention that I had to pay 6.99 instead of 4.99 - because I didn't have a printout off the internet showing the price).... Anyway, the store is about 25 miles away (in a direction that I almost never go)... So I decided to take them apart and see if I could fix it myself.... I didn't really do anything; just fiddled with the connections and tightened everything up... Seemed to work.... I just don't have any warm-fuzzy feeling about them... I guess I'll just carry a backup mag-light.... :D

Sorry to hear that, but mine work great and I did not need a printout to get that $4.99 price. There is always going to be bad batches of everything. The store I ended up getting them was 24 miles away also to a place I never go and I still think it was worth the trip...It got us on the Bike..

At least from the picture these look a lot like the freebie one I got for renewing my membership in the HRCA. Only got one but it was even cheaper than the 4.99 price. ;)

I have one that has 9 LED's, got it at Lowes, it's been bullet proof, down side, it was $12.00 including the duracells.

The one listed has 9 LED’s and is on sale right now for $3.99
I picked up 2 more and also just got an even smaller/lighter Blue colored 9 LED one for $2.
They all work great for me.
