Low 80's, sunny, moderate to heavy south wind
Campground condition:
Tent area is more a group area. No specific sites. Gound is sloped southward to a dry draw. Cedar trees provide wind protection on the south. Some terracing that provides some level areas.
RV sites are level concrete pads. No fire rings, 30 amp power and water.
New shower facility with 2 showers. Be advised, this state park charges for your shower. Currently 75 cents for 3 minutes.
Area riding:
This is western Oklahoma. Pretty straight and level. One can see for miles! Little Sahara State Park is about 15 miles away and affords dunes for those so inclined.

There are 6 caverns on the park. The main cavern is not open to free exploring but has a public tours every hour to 4:00 p.m. for a nominal fee. 4 of the others are considered to be "wild caves" and are open to exploration with a permit available at the park office.
