located in pine log state forest about 15 miles north of panama city beach fl. on SR79. only about 20 sites all with electric and water. maybe half the sites are on the the small lake. i got there late in the day (hung around the beach too long ) and as is my luck, just as i got my tent up, it started rainin. so i rode over to this shelter and much to my surprise it had a fireplace. so i left my bike there and walked over and got my tent and set up under the shelter. gathered some wood,cooked some dogs over the fire, packed my tent away, unrolled my sleepin bag and slept like a log. a pine log. best thing about it was i was basicly packed and ready to roll. the rain let up around 8am so i got a good start on the day. stayed there 3/15/11. 20 bucks a night.
