Well, I just wandered in to see what's up. Like Paper, I'm another one of those cheap KLR guys who likes to ride and camp. I'm also from Illinois, further downstate. My trips these days are mostly southern Missouri rides and I'm heading down there tomorrow for a few days. I previously camped off a Concours but just couldn't get to the kooler sites with that big hoss. Years ago I rode a 73 Suzuki 550 triple. Anyone remember those? I bought it new and rode it into the ground, finally selling it for a dollar. Jeez it was a crummy bike compared to what we have today.
Anyway, glad to have found this site and looking forward to trading some ideas and maybe meeting a few folks. Later.

Welcome mate, I reckon you'll fit right in here by what you say of yourself.... have fun with it and post often... then I'll have more to read about the U.S. and how you blokes ( and shielas ) enjoy it.

The Suzi tripple... was that called the " HUSTLER " ?.. it rings a bell.... I had a Kwaka 350 tripple in '73...I got her up to 110 MPH on the clock:D ...great bike , very similar to the Suzi as I recall.
