If possible would anyone post their recommended trips. Microsoft Street and Trips files (& PDFs) would be useful if they are available.
Joe, I think it might be worth having a Forum for 'Trips & Maps', which is where this thread should reside.
I would like recommendations for interesting and historic trips in the USA and Canada. Points of interest, rock formations, scenic points, good eating/fishing, Camping etc. Basically any info that a fellow motorcamper might find useful about your trip.
Thanks.

i just got back from a fantastic tour. Took over 300 pics, and mini videos.
Started in S. Oregon, camped, hoteled, hiked, and Mtn biked all-over the Pacifc NorthWest, including Canada. 19 days!
Hope to write up a picture-based report, and post.

i believe that pic was taken by another camper, where i stopped to take a pic of the liddle canyon formed by "Clear Creek"
i found this area when i was headed up to "Rainy Hwy", hwy 20, east of Burlington WA. (which is a DO NOT miss ride! - as you must know, living in the area)
While headed north, out of Seattle, headed to Cananda, i was doing some "extra credit" riding southeast of Darrington WA, on an unlabeled country road, and found Clear Creek.
Here a pic of the canyon, rather than the bike set-up:
(edit - this pic does NOT do justice to the beauty of the area, in anywayshapeorform)

GWGL,
This pic will look familar to ya. There is a GRATE story around this pic.
But keeping with theme of short-n-sweet; enuf to say that i rode my VFR (fully loaded, including bicycle) down this path about a half mile, in order to find the most perfect of camping spots, with more than enuf trees to shield me from light rain - and therefore i did not bother to set up my tent, opting to sleep in the great wide-open.
Bliss.

Flailer,
You are absolutely right about Hwy 20 and yes, it IS a do Not Miss Ride. I have been across there several times on my way to Osoyoos B.C. One of my favorite stops on the way is Diablo Dam, which can be seen in on my Website in the Osoyoos B.C. 02/03 Pics.
That is a nice pic but not really sure where it is or why I should know?LOL.
I look forward to seeing more of the shots you took on this Trip.

Sorry, no. Wasnt trying to say you would recognize the particular location, just the foliage type. But then again, i had to resize that photo dwn, and it lost a lot.
Anyway, i'ave traveled the world, and have yet to see anyplace with the plant growth, over and undergrowth, that looks like Central WA.
Heck; Oregon's green, but it aint like that.
