Several-Last time was in July 2004

Weather:
It can get hot, over 100 in the summer and chilly in the winter months. However, you can pretty much ride all year long in this part of Texas.

Campground Condition:

This is a small campground but all the sites are in excellent condition.
The park roads are also in excellent condition.
The showers/bathroom facilities were very nice and clean.
There are streams/rivers running near this site, great for a morning/evening walk or to take a dip in during the hot Texas summer.Area Attractions:
Sonehenge II (http://www.alfredshepperd.com/Stonehenge/main.html) in Ingram on SR-27, a replica of the landmark in England

Lone Star Motorcycle Museum (http://lonestarmotorcyclemuseum.com/) located on FM-187 just north of VanderpoolArea Riding:
This part of the Texas Hill Country is known for the 'Three Sisters'. Highways RR-335, RR-336 and RR-337 are legendary in these parts and have been rated as the best roads in Texas in some magazines.


Other roads that are a must when traveling the area are SR-39 west of Ingram and SR-16 south of Kerrville to Medina.Additional Information:
