I am looking at mounting a Coca Cola chest on my trailer and am thinking of having a pro paint it to match the bike. Have any of you folks had a trailer painted to match?

Looking for pricing and any other tips. Also some opinions ( I am thick skined )
I have been told to keep it original Coca Cola colors and I think it would clash with my bike... 90 1500 in Wineberry...... Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Lv

Coca- Cola machines in original colors are just classic.

I've heard it said that all "real" corvettes are red, all other colors are an abomination.

Ya' gotta LOVE a Coca-Cola chest in the original color scheme.
I vote for painting the bike and trailer to match the chest. Just sayin'. :D

Doc,
I'd at least paint the trailer to match the Coca-cola cooler. It is less important to have your ride match the trailer. But if money isn't an issue "JohnDelivers" idea would be the ultimate.

For me it would depend on what shape the original paint is in. If you are going to have to repaint the Coke red it will no longer be original, so you might as well paint it to match the bike. You can always repaint it in the Coca-Cola color scheme later. If I'm remembering correctly, the Wineberry color is awesome! P^

I think JD is onto something. Maybe some Coke emblems on the Wing (Wineberry is a Wing color, isn't it'). Now there were some Wings that came in regular red, just like coke signs.

Anyways, thumbs down on the Wineberry cooler paint scheme. Just wouldn't be right.

Pictures when you're done please...

Thanks for all the advice.... The cooler is in primer now... and I think I'll have to go with original colors.... I worked for Coca-cola for awhile and can't de-face some ole property. I'll be looking at the unit next Monday and will post pictures as I can. From some other r forums it sounds like to expect $500-1000 for a good paint job. Now I just have to find the original "Coke" color.....

doc, if you have something that has the "original" Coke color most body shops have a paint scanner that can get you close enough to the color that you can't tell the difference with the naked eye. Take a day and check your local body shops for quotes. Most will charge less if you have the cooler taken apart so they can just scuff, mask, and spray.

First buy a new roller!! Just kidding, Try a Rap. Its like a decal, any color, any logos can be added. It can be removed too.

Excellent idea Gary! P^ I'd forgot about those, that's what most of the auto racing teams use for their "paint".

Well I just got back from 3 body shops with estimates....

$1050---1200---2000. This is to paint cooler, fenders, and a top door...

Too much for this round.
