Kaw Lake Dam Site campground is a small campground below Kaw Lake dam about 8 miles east of Ponca City. There are no showers avalable at this site. Only Pit Toilets. All the sites have 30 amp electric. Water is available at the toilets.

This isn't a very good travel campsite. Certainly not a destination site. Because the water levels change with the small electric generation facility quite often, a warning horn blows everytime there is such a change. This can be 2:00 a.m.!

Having camped here, I do not recommend this site. You're better off going further to Osage Cove C/G where there are facilities and further away from the dam.
