I bought the Eddie Bauer Self-Inflating Mat at Target a while back. It was a decent price, and at 2.5" it was thicker than anything else they had. I really do wish I had waited and bought a Big Agnes now. It inflates easily enough, has a 3" self-inflating pillow attached, and has held up ok. But... for some reason air tends to pillow at the foot, which I've since learned is a habit of this model. It's also got a sort of "quilted," or rivited design, which could be part of the problem. The valve placement could have used more thought, too. When inflated the hard plastic valves lay against the tent floor, and when deflating you have to roll the mat up over the valves.
Overall, it does what it's supposed to do: hold air, hold a sleeping bag, and keep you off the ground. It just doesn't do it nearly as well as it could.
