I have a Wenzel 9x7 Timber Creek Tent, and love it so far. As a Concours rider, I'm dedictated to frugality, and Wenzel fits the bill at around $39.99. It weighs in at just under nine pounds, and it packs down to a managable size. It's spacious, though at 4'4" tall I wish I had a bit more head room. They call it a four-man tent, which naturally means there's space for two plus equipment. Well designed with many features of your pricier tents, there's plenty of air flow, and it comes with a decent sized rain fly.

I've had romantic getaways with female companions, and shared it with smelly fellow bikers who I wanted to keep my distance from. Either way, it does it's job quite well. I've had it in freezing weather, in the sun along the Gulf of Mexico, and been in far too many rainshowers. At a bike fest once we even had a torrential downpour that blew down half the tents, flooded others, and sent many scurrying for cars, trailers, or any other shelter they could find. I slept through it. My buddy had his mattress up against the tent wall, so he and his equipment did get soaked.

I've been camping in it quite a bit in the last year, and it's held up fine. I've been rough on it, too. It doesn't look new anymore, but it still looks like it will be around quite a while.
