First time out. It was great. Got up to 30* today, I went and got the hitch put on, then came home hooked up. I didn't hook up lights yet, or even hook up the chains. But I had to give it a try. I went east on rt 70 ( at 70 mph), then I took some back roads. They are kind of twestie but not the dragon. Low and behold, It was all good, I could not be more pleased. I didn't even know it was back there. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

Bunkhouse is made not to far from here. A really nice unit but I can't afford the $5000.00 price tag. I've pretty much made up my minde to build my own. The buy comment was because the wife was reading over my shoulder and she hasn't quite commited to my building one :) She will;)
Was this guy who built his own a member of the forum? I would love to pick his brain for any advice or things to watch out for. Any way to get in contact with him?
George.

Gary...the wheels look so small in the pics. I wonder how the bearings will hold up when the temps are in the 90s at speed?
