Actually if I was to ever be able to afford a bikecamper, this would be it.. friends from Ky have 1 and they used it while on a trip around Lake Michigan with me 1 year...you can stow alot of stuff in them! They would be the wood haulers if I ever travel with a camper person(s) again, not me and my lil 750! HAHA!!

Although I do plan to camp outside the garage, I needed to do a few things to it and could not wait to show everyone here. I have been lurking for a couple of years. This was a barn find, and while it has been sitting up for a couple of years the canvas is in great shape. Will take some pics when I use it on the outside, and out of my yard.. Thinking the neighbors may get upset if I camp in there yard.... may even take it two doors down.

Looks great, and camping in the yard is a good way to make sure everything works like it's supposed to. I've done it many times........TD

If you don't like it you can always just open the garage door and post that "For Rent" sign you got handy! HAHAHAHA! P^

Hey Harley, here are a couple pictures that may give you some ideas for packing that LL. I picked up these drawers at Walley World and lay them on the bed. Then once the camper is up, it is easy to set them on the floor and make a dresser for the floor area. Very convenient.

Thanks for the advise Etstrine. I just may use that idea. Was looking for soemthing to pack my gear in. I went on Scout leader training weekend this past weekend at the Boy Scout Camp. I was unable to tow it behind my bike, because I have not yet put a hitch on it for a couple of reasons. Guess I will get to that over the winter. I am not a cold weather camper at all. I found a few things I needed to do diffrent. First since I had my truck I put all my gear in a plastic tote. This served as a low table when I got there. I know I will need to find something like the drawers to use. I feel I need a small table to eat off of to keep from using my lap. I used a bungee cord across the center beam to hang a lantern, that worked well. I also need to take a torpedo level to make sure my head is higher than my feet. I am thinking I need a add a tarp at least, do not know if I will purchase that from the company, or have a upholstry shop make me one. Need to price it. I also need to figure a way to secure the bottom of the tent doors to the side of the trailer. Otherwise I think I am really going to like it. Thanks for all the advice and help here on the forum. I have learned alot, as I know I still have quite a bit to learn. Guess I have rambeled enough for one night.

Ohhh and btw,,, I did not get any pics, forgot to pack my camera. Nothing like being prepared!!!!!

Mr. Guy, I wish I could take credit for the basket but the guy that sold us the camper threw that in with the deal, along with a few other items.
.
Harleyburnout, We bought a folding aluminum table (Coleman brand if I remember correctly) that folds up flat enough to lay on top of the storage drawers before we close the camper. We also carry around an 18" level to help set up the camper but I am thinking about buying a set of the small torpedo levels that can be placed on the front and side of the camper with self adhesive tape. That way they would not take up any room and would always be there when I need them. Finally, I broke down and purchased the tarp from the Leesure-Lite Dealer since it is made to zip on. I do not even remove it anymore. It can be folded up along with the tent when you close the trailer. One more thing I don't have to mess with when setting up the camp and it is very easy to remove when I am cleaning the unit when I get home. This picture shows how I carry my lawn chairs and cooler.

Wonder how much those are? I may someday build myself one, but first I'd need a good looking hitch like yours for my Heritage; I hate to booger it up with some of the clunky rigs I've seen. Wheredja git that? P^
You can get a couple of "line levels" masons use at Depot - glue them to the frame using a 4' level to make sure they're right, and there ya go: permanent and no weight or space taken up. ;)

I have a two way level mounted on the tongue,I had started to look when we went to the Chillout and found that GWIZ already had one on his camper! ( he seems to be light years ahead of about everybody when it comes to improvements and inventions..........I got mine at the local big box lumber yard!

+ 1 on mchitch they fit like a glove!

Linda, you must have met Triker Tom at Meadowbrook, He's in our GWRRA Chapter. I think he works at the campground.

Etstrine that view looks familiar, is that on the Kangamangus ??

Trapper, Yes I met Triker Tom. He actually helped me out quite a bit on that trip. See my Maine trip report 'part 1 & 2' under the multi state trip report. And yes you have a sharp eye. That was on the Kanc. That is one of the most beautiful rides I have ever been on. Rates in my top ten!
