Sorry about that.. work and getting ready for my impending trip is really stretching me not to mention the st site work but I'm getting lots of help there so that's not so bad.
We should have a few Nat'l Park reviews when we get back the middle of september.

Hey... nothing for you to apologize for. It's not just your site. We all contribute (or not) :o and therefore have some responsibility for the activity level of the site.
I, too, have some things I could post. I just need to find (make) the time to do it and upload the pics.

Working on home projects has kept me from posting much. Haven't had any opportunity to motocamp yet this season....... sigh......
Even my canoe misses me!
Funny thing is we gave up using the family cottage to make more time for other activities!

No 'puter on my last 6 week camping trip. No phone either, and no stress at all. 3900 miles and never in a motel....life is good. I'm heading out for another 3 weeks tomorrow. Ohio, Illinois, Washington, Cali. Then the southwest route back east. This is a nice forum but don't most of us stay on the road alot and thus limit traffic here???
That's my dream. To stay on the road a lot. However... I'm stil a part of the working class and only get so much vacation time each year. :(

Retire......make it your ultimate goal to retire early and then do it. My guiding credo in life is "Always choose time off over money". Get off the "success" treadmill and live.
Tell that to my Kids!!!!

Hear! Hear! What's called for is balance. By and large we are such a driven culture that we err on the side of too much work. The people who die early are those who go to extremes -- either "all work, no play" type A's or those who retire to do nothing but sit in the back yard and watch the grass grow.
Strive for a good balance.

I think you have it down pat, now if I can get the wife to agree I work enough!

Thanks, Mongo. Having it down pat in your head and actually living it are two different things. :o I plead guilty to a tendency to overemphasize the work. I need to slow down. Making myself do it is a horse of a differnt color.
I wish you luck getting your wife to agree. If you succeed, let me know how you did it. :p
