I installed them on my last ride a r1150r, made a world of difference as far as payload and handling. Did they request riding style, suited up riders weight and load? If so you won't be displeased at all.

Yep,they (HARD RACING) asked many questions, riders weight all suited up, how the bikes equipped such as Jesse's ect, type of riding and will the bike carry camping gear.
Just finished up getting all back together and ready to ride. Tomorrow hopefully I will get it all dialed in. I was told it would be pretty close already to being dialed in.

Yesterday we dialed them in and its like night and day. I rode out to a friends (Brian) house in Moorpark Ca. Friday after work. Early Saturday morning we did a quick valve adjustment (every 6000 miles) and sync'd the throttle bodies. At 30,000 miles the Beemers engine seems to be finally settling in as the valves needed nothing. Oil consumption is just about nothing too.
Now its time to dial in the new Ohlin's shocks. Brian I consider to be an expert on suspension. He's obsessed with making it perfect and always does.
The shocks come pretty much preset from Ohlin's. when ordering you are asked a series of question. Your weight with riding gear, two up?, riding style, is the bike used for camping, any off road riding?, just to mention a few. So its just a matter of a click here and there after adjusting the sag. Everything was really close from Ohlin's.
My friend asked that I show up with my bike packed for camping and ready to go. Once we started he asked me to remove the camping gear. He took off and was gone for about half an hour. It was then my turn. The bike felt very different now. It drops into courners really nice and just seems to carve and slice throught the turns. All this while Brian followed me on his bike watching what my GS did in the corners. He'd signal me to pull over and then he'd make an adjustment and off we'd go again. At some point you know you've got it. The bike just corners and handles perfect.
Back to his house we record and write down every adjustment so we don't lose the settings. I load all my gear on the Bike and he takes off again as we repeat the same, difference this time the bikes all loaded down for camping. Brian returns and once again it my turn. We take off for a fine tune session again with Brian in tow.
Once again the bike handles and corners perfect.
Back to Brians 20 we write it all down again. Now I have 2 easy to dial in settings. One for camping and the other for fun local day rides and short trips.:)
Brain, if your reading this, thanks again. My bike would never get to this point without your help.

Sounds great, I have been thinking about the olins for my GS, did you install them yourself?
If so how difficult was it? My dealer told me it would cost about $600.00 to install them, after I recovered from my mild heart attack, I said I might wait awhile. I didn't mind the cost of the shocks so much ($1,400.00 shipped) but the $600.00 install was a little pricey
