Hello all,
I'm Mac and I've been riding since the turn of the century(I love saying that). I started MC camping at Daytona for bike week back in ought one and have been doing it on and off since then.
I found this site from STN.com and ST-owners.com. Glad to be here.

Bienvenidos, Mac! Good to have you aboard.
Thanks. I've already found some interesting advice on sleeping pads. Makes my reconsider using my thermarest pad.

Hello All
Another new guy here. Since I didn't read this, I posted in the wrong area:confused: dummer than a rock or lets just say a senior moment. I got your site off our IBMC quarterly newsletter so I checked you out very nice site.
Been riding for 50 years don't want to say how many miles I got but it's a bunch. We've been camping now since 03 tried tent 1st, then bigger tent then went to a Bunkhouse love that Kingsize bed. My bride and I both ride and we travel frequently.
Have a beautiful day

Welcome Slink!.. Gotta love the quick setup of the bunkhouse... just wish it came in a very slim lighter weight package... I've looked at them all and thought it would be nice but don't care to lug a trailer around... just my preference.
I had a uni-go and liked it... If there were a trailer that was 1/2 the width of the bunkhouse and 1/3 the length and folded out just enough for 1 person the sleep... that would be cool... might have to make one..

I've seen one at Americade and it was interesting for solo sleeping. It's not big enough for two. Plenty of storage under the bed also.

Welcome Slink!
I've toyed with the idea of pulling a trailer but opted out. Because of the ST1300's sport touring nature I didn't want to hinder that quick handling ability in any way.
