View Full Version : Caramel Walnut Foil Baked Apples

Core, peel and slice 4 apples into half inch slices. Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil and place half a stick of butter in the middle. Add apple slices around butter. sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. add two table spoons of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of emerald glazed walnuts. close foil in a manner that allows you to fold open a top section to periodically check. place on fire grate or grill over hot coals. when apples are fork tender and soft remove from heat. spoon onto plate and drizzle with warm caramel and serve while warm.
