I've been lurking since sometime in May. Live in NJ just over the river from Philadelphia. I've lived in this area all my life. I got back into riding in 2005, after a 20 year layoff. I ride an HD Road King Classic and now pull an Aspen Ambassador. My bride and I took our inaugural trip with the Aspen at the end of May. Prior to that we pulled a Cycle Mate Zephyr and tent camped.
Seems to be a good group of people on here with lots of useful info. I think I'll pull up a chair and enjoy the campfire a bit.
Here's a shot of the Aspen in use, threw a tarp over the top so we had a BIG front porch and an awning over the back window as well. It worked out great considering we had a good bit of rain and a lot of debris falling from the trees.
The second pic is scrounging around the campground for firewood after everyone went home. We were staying a few more days and helped ourselves. The place, Julian Price Campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway at mm 397, had no vacancy over the weekend, but come Monday it went down to one site occupied.....NICE!!!
