I stayed at this VA state park campground over the Memorial Day weekend. This CG is located about 15 miles from South Boston VA and is really off the beaten path and about 10 miles to the nearest store, so pack accordingly. CG is clean and well maintained with typical state park attractions such as boat docks, pool etc. The actual CG is away from the attractions. Very quite, clean bath house and every site is spacious with plenty of shade. Expect many RV type campers and tents. Well worth the 20$ or so per night with water and electric hookups.
