update we have 2 ride's planed on Friday the 17..

1.pat's pub ride

this is a ride with stop at a few pubs and a lunch stop with great riding road between stop... "note this is not lets get drunk ride..one and your done..

2.scenic over view ride ..

with stop at scenic over views and a lunch stop with great riding road between stops ride is about 120 miles long

as far as Saturday we are looking at a few different things..
the Ideal is to have us back at the camp ground by 3PM to 4PM on all group rides

this one were looking at on saturday..

I have gotton some Pm's about going to Niagara falls..
yes you can do this and what is nice about it is you pass from stony brook will get you in the Niagara falls state park on the America side for free so you don't have to pay for parking and lots of good stuff to see and do on the America side ..and if you want to go over to Canada you can just walk across bridge "that is only about 100 yards from where we park our bikes" and remember if do this you will need a "passport" or "enhanced driver's license" and yes you can ride over also just remember parking on the Canada side will cost$$$ and there is really only one spot to park and will have to pay..

if any one has any question about this please just ask

Thanks Ed & Vicki:cool:

Glad you posted; it's now on my calendar and I may even ride my Triumph. It may dove-tail in with my plans to camp the next weekend at a ST-owner's rally in Ct.

I organized an all aero ride 1 year, and most peeps backed out for whatever reason..I had a great ride, great camping and some mom and pops on the way home to get me going longer and faster....met 2 of the forumers and rode with them to my cabin, then 1 day...too bad no others were able to go..most show for the Tenn all aero ride annually in june..we all have too many roads and not enough time to ride em all eh?

For all you non-Triumph owners out there - put it on your schedule for next year. The camping and scenery is great but the campfire crowd is even better. I enjoyed myself completely and will definately put it on my schedule for next year.

Thanks Ed for posting the invite here :).

As a life long resident of the Finger Lakes region of New York, I highly recommend the area.

I hope to have the chance to join y'all next year. P^

Attended my first time this year, as Tom said, boy, what a great bunch of people, I'll be there every year, if'n the levee don't break. Too funny, I ran into a former employer at a funeral last week, been years, I missed him there that Friday by a half hour, came up with King of Fleece, but forgot to sign the banner. Small world.

Did a bus tour (of all things) with my mom around the lakes once..wine country...she was very ill but glad we had the chance to make a small trip..she had a hard life and went with me even though she was very ill...she had her last fun on that trip...

I'd like to make it next year...the only thing that scares me is, I'll want to buy a Triumph ....there are worse things, I guess......TD
