Welcome back Don! Great Pics. Just wondering what was the tongue weight/trailer load weight? I know the ST has the brakes/power to haul it. My wife has decided she likes riding more and has mentioned motocamping (she loves car camping), I know that means curling iron/hair dryier and other assorted accessories of the female variety  , and that means a trailer! I told her to cut her hair like mine and it would be easier to handle, she said bald did not get it!

Great shots Don...
I do have a question though... were you trying to do a "Mellow" in that fashion shot? :D

Mongo, the tongue wt can easily be kept at about 20-35 lbs. I don't use/bring a scale but as long as it tows smoothly that's all I need.
My Bushtec weighs 125 empty and has a max of 350 giving you plenty of capacity wt wise. I rode all sorts of terrain at a "bit" :) over the limit most of the time and I get about 41 mpg avg. Almost 42 on this trip. So you can tell the ST hauls the trailer w/o difficulty. In the first 30 miles of HMY 36 (WB) I avg'd 60 mph. so towing the Bush has very little affect on handling in the twisties. Only at very slow (walking) speeds with uneven pavement do I "feel" the trailer bumping around back there.
I don't care what anyone says, you do know it's back there but only when accel or braking and hen it feels like a heavy passenger back there. With the trailer taking all the extra gear wt instead of the bike, I don't even add any preload on the rear for the trailer. The combo reacts a bit when following a big rig too close but in wind it is more stable than he bike alone.
I am not a total trailer nut and would rather ride w/o mostly because of the speed limits for towing which I really try to keep within reason (I do have an Escort which I pay attn to) but it sure is nice for camping tho' with all the amenities I can bring along. My Bushy will tow straight up to 100 mph if need be.
There's a website I saw that had a track day w/ a brand X trailer and they avg'd 136mph with their trailer behind a big bore sport bike.

With the proper hitch, trailer and attitude, towing can be safe and rewarding.

I checked in to a camp and bought some firewood and the host wanted to know when I will come back to pick it up after unloadng my bike. (He didn't notice the trailer) I said I'll take it now and walked out with it and he followed. His mouth flopped open as I opened the lid and set the bundle on top of my gear and rode away, lid ajar.

On this recent trip, I had to take 2 boxes of stuff to give to my son and w/o the trailer I would have had to drive my car :( 'Nuff said.

Thanks Don I knew the ST had the power/brakes. Just wondering about the trailer actually. Your info answered my questions. With the youngest boy going into the last year of school, the wife will definately be wanting to go.

Welcome back, Don. Umm. I've got a question, though. Just looking at the picture I'd guess you'd popped some corn. The caption, however, says, "Three years past exp.
Still poops!"

I'm kind of afraid to ask but exactly what is it inside that container you're holding? :p

You know... I've looked everywhere and can't find any jiffy pop in the little pans, I know I can still pop corn other ways, I just like watching the foil rise.
