Hogrock 2010

I spent a few days last week in Cave In Rock, IL at a rally called Hogrock.

Of course it rained the whole ride up, and we had a couple of evening thunderstorms. The only downside was it was very hot and humid the entire time we were there.

My poor old rally tent has seen it's last trip, I think I'm going to retire it to winter camping as it's HOT, I'm sure glad I had my fan! :)

The heat didn't deter the crowds, this is overlooking a small field that you can see from our camp spot.

I haven't got the trailer lights wired yet, so I needed the rack space.

Great pictures ...I see what you meant about not being packed in looks like a good camping place and I really hate missing it. Now we have a couple grandkids sick ( one has viral menangitis) Between that and the cash flow being down from not workingit doesnt look real good for big trips for a while....looks like a good trip for next year tho!

Dan in the 5th picture down is the most crowded of the spots. This picture was taken an Saturday afternoon where people who got there late just grabbed a spot in the sun. :eek:

Hope the little ones get to feeling better.

I understand the travel funds situation, mine are just about drained for this year too.
