Just found this forum the other day, thought I'd say hello.



I'm starting off on my first "significant" motorcycle trip next week. I plan to ride 7 days, over about 2000 miles (not counting side trips), camping all six nights along the way. Needless to say, I'm in obsessive read-and-plan mode now. I'm counting down the days.

Don't be surprised if you see some noob questions over the next few days. I'll try to keep them to a minimum though. :)

And, Mellow, hopefully I'll have an opportunity to take you up on that soon and often. ;) The new bike is just a baby though... just over 1000 miles. Kinda shocking when you realize I've already had it over a month! I feel like I'm neglecting the poor thing. No worries though... I'll add about 3k miles over the next couple weeks, and from there it's just a matter of holding onto momentum. :D

WelcomeP^P^ No such thing as "noob" questions. If you have a question, just ask it!!!!!! You will get the answer you are looking for.
