Hi guys :)
I've been browsing your forum for a few days and it really fits in with my plans this summer. My son and I plan to take our bikes on a camping trip for a couple of weeks through a few national parks. Never having done this I hope to pick your brains for advice and ideas.
Hopefully I will also be able to contribute in the future.
Anyway, I am from central Wisconsin and I love riding and hope to do even more this year. I haven't done any camping from the bike yet ... but it really sounds fun with the right gear.
Nice to meet you all!

Where in Wisconsin? I'm from Colfax, between Eau Claire and Menomonie. I can point you in a few good directions on this side of the state.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys ... and you may be sorry that you gave me permission to ask dumb questions :D

Some nice riding over that way Sidecar. I am from the Wausau area and spend quite of time riding between here and the U.P. Hopefully I can contribute a few campground reviews for that area shortly, as we need to do some tune-up runs before the big trip.
By the way ... if it matters I ride a Harley currently ... after a lifetime of everything else ... doesn't matter to me what anyone else rides ... just that you ride

WE won't hold the Harley against you. :D I've got an Aspencade, a Moto Guzzi, and a CBR this week.
I actually graduated from Wittenberg H.S. Does Tombstone Pizza still supply all the free slab firewood for the Chequamegon campgrounds over there?
Welcome to the campfire.
