Great forum. I love motocamping. DId 16 countries in 17 days a couple of years back - here is how we packed :

No that is real and it wasn't as unstable as it looks, everything above shoulder hight you could lift with one little finger.
I buy packpackers camping gear so it is very light and well designed.
Mind you, it got worse as the trip got longer - 'her who has no clue about packing' kept buying more wine 'for when we get back'!!!

Two up can be a challenge when it comes to packing.

Have you'all seen "U" bags like the Grand Touring Bag by Mag's Bags (http://www.magsbags.com/grandtouringbag.html)?
Sleeping bags on both sides, and tent & fly in the back.
Add a duffle on top for your clothing, and you're set.
There are also cheaper U bags for ATV found here in the
states (not sure if around Cookie's area).
