Nice pack job, I like it. What size are your Givi's?
Oh WOW, just noticed, a member for 2 1/2 years and your first post. Well, I guess a long term WELCOME is in order. :)

Does that mean they're 21 liters?
The reason I ask is I just bought 2 top load Pelican boxes to put on my DR that are about 16 liters. Which is a little larger than the soft bags I was using. Just curious about the relative size.

Hey, Guy
Yeah, they are 21 liters. Colleen and I had a pair, but sold them and went with the Jesse's.
Nice bike, frankie. Kinda reminds me of some other bikes I've seen.;)

Howdy Frankie and good to have you make your first post, but you say you headed to a rally, did you make it?

Yeah, 2 1/2 years a member and first post, talk about lurkers. Actually I forgot I was a member until I got the Wee, it really is a great forum.
So I did make it to the Frosty Nutz rally, the Yankee Beemers ran the show and did a great job. We were at Wilgus State Park and it wasn't even open to the public yet. The Park Services opened it early just for the beemer folks.
It was just about mid way up Vermont and had a lot of 'stuff' to see.
there were 5 of us, three city kids, 2 from Brooklyn and 1 from Joisey plus my son in law and I from central Connecticut. They all had street bikes and I had the Wee. When we went out riding Saturday they had me lead since I had a few places on the GPS to see. I never realized there are that many dirt roads in Vermont!! One of the guys has a Sportster with, it seems like, 1/2 inch suspension travel. He lost a lot of nuts and bolts :-)
My son in law was bringing up the rear on his VFR and when we were heading for a gas station he ran out of gas. We didn't know he did, we thought he was just sightseeing. Well he ran out 4 miles from the station we were at and he COASTED the whole way, it was all downhill.
We visited the floating bridge (it was closed) in Brookfield, the Hope cemetery in Barre (you gotta see the headstones here), Ben and Jerry's in Waterbury and then wound up at one of the Yankee beemer's home for cookies and stuff.
Altogether a fine weekend.

Hey, Frankie. Welcome.
I can tell you are loaded too light because you could still wrestle it up on the center stand!:)
Glad you are here....

In my defense it was my first camp ride, the cooler was empty and I left the trunk off :) besides it was only for 3 days! I'll do better when I head down to Maryland in a couple of weeks. I'll send pics.
