Ran into a very nice fellow on a Vstrom at this year's Nagshead bike week that had put a honda trunk on the back.

A trunk from what? I've never seen that on any Honda.

That looks like an old Harley trunk. I once had one like it and the matching saddlebags on a Goldwing. Mine came off of a 1972, but that may not have been original, either

my bet is its a mid 70's aftermarket its definitely not a Harley trunk

Looks like one off of an earlier Silver Wing (GL500) around 1982...

I opened this message expecting to see a mutt sitting on a trunk...it's a dog of an idea alright! Why doesn't he just put a fridge on there!??DOH! HAHA!!!!!

I wish I got his name and address, we could've sent him a sticker to pretty it up. :-)
I dont know if that would have helped. It is a groovy top case no doubt, but it must be working for him untill he can buy something from this day and age..
