Anyone have an experience with this (http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/PRD/Sugarite.htm) park in New Mexico?

We might stop there overnight and will not be camp cooking. Anyplace near by to grab a sandwich before we setup camp? Since we'll have ladies in tow, are the facilities / showers clean? Any other info you can provide will be helpful.

Our other alternative is to stay at the KOA in Raton, but would like to avoid that if possible.

Cheers,
Pete

Sorry, no info from me, I've camped at Sipapu Lodge southeast of Taos by 20 miles or so and that's a very cool little campground next to a running stream but probably too far south for you. No showers but does have a store that's got good supplies and some rooms if you need them.
